A Night to Remember: Kicking Off Our Fall CE Series

We kicked off our fall CE series with an unforgettable evening of open conversation and connection. Six of our talented technicians stepped into the spotlight to answer questions from our clients, creating a warm, engaging dialogue that flowed effortlessly. By the end of the night, it felt like a room full of friends united by one shared mission—doing what’s best for every patient.

Last week, we officially kicked off our fall continuing education events with a very special evening—and we couldn’t be more proud of how it turned out.

For this event, six of our talented technicians did something outside of their usual comfort zone. Instead of working quietly behind the scenes, they stepped into the spotlight and sat in front of a room full of our clients, ready to answer any and every question about dental laboratory technology.

What happened next was truly inspiring.

From the very beginning, their smiles and laughter put everyone at ease, and the conversation started to flow naturally. What began as a Q&A quickly turned into an open dialogue where everyone in the room felt connected. By the end of the night, it felt less like a seminar and more like a gathering of old friends.

The common thread running through every question and every answer was clear: the patient. Whether the conversations focused on esthetics, function, or collaboration between the lab and the dental office, it all came back to one shared goal—doing what is best for the patients we serve.

As dental technicians, we may not sit chairside with patients, but every restoration we create has a direct impact on their health, confidence, and quality of life. That responsibility guides every decision we make and every innovation we embrace. This event was a wonderful reminder of how much stronger we are when we come together, share knowledge, and work side by side toward that goal.

We are deeply grateful to our technicians for their courage and openness, and to our clients for their curiosity and trust. It was the perfect start to our CE season, and we are excited for all the meaningful conversations still to come this fall.

The Power of a Team: Celebrating the Small Things

In the rush of the workday, it’s the small moments that reveal the strength of a team. This Dental Technician Month, we’re reminded that recognizing the little things—quiet dedication, helping hands, kind words—makes the biggest impact. Here’s to the everyday heroes behind every smile. 💙

June is Dental Technician Month…a perfect time to pause and reflect on the incredible people who make our lab what it is. In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it’s easy to keep our heads down, pushing forward to meet deadlines and serve patients. But it’s in those busiest moments that the strength of a great team really shines.

At Renstrom, we’ve learned that one of the most powerful things you can do is simply stop and look around. Watch the way your teammate double-checks a shade. Notice someone lending a hand without being asked. Feel the quiet dedication in every restoration crafted. These aren’t grand gestures…but they’re the heartbeat of everything we do.

Every smile we help create is the result of many people working together with one shared goal: to help someone feel confident again. And that’s something pretty amazing.

This month, we shared a photo on Facebook of our “Thank You Board Drawing”, a simple board filled with handwritten notes of appreciation from teammates to one another. At the end of the month, we pull two names to receive a little surprise gift. It’s a tradition rooted in gratitude, and it means a lot to our team.

One comment on that post really struck a chord:
“Of all the cool stuff you guys do, this is my favorite. Recognizing the small things, as the big things is so important!”

That sentiment says it all. Anyone can applaud the major wins, but it’s the small, quiet moments of care, effort, and kindness that truly build a strong culture…and a great lab.

So this month, we’re extending a challenge to all of you:
Every day, find a small thing to recognize in someone around you.
Whether it's a co-worker, a client, or a patient, notice the details. Call out the kindness. Appreciate the effort. It doesn’t take much, but it makes all the difference.

Here’s to our technicians.
Here’s to your teams.
And here’s to the little things that add up to something really big.

Happy Dental Technician Month! 🦷💙
