Our featured team member today is Randall (Randy) Renstrom, CDT. He guides our dental lab to be proactive, quality focused, and solution oriented.
Randy explains how he works create the type of environment where team members can produce the level of work our clients and their patients deserve.
My Role at Renstrom/Crocus
I drive the bus. A significant part of my job is deciding what direction the company should take. I strategize with others in the company and form plans so we get to where we need to be. I also assist the technicians and help out in the lab wherever I am needed. Quality Control is very important in the lab so I can also be found checking the work before it sent to the dental office.
Advanced Dental Lab Training
I have been a lab technician for over 35 years. In that time I have attended numerous courses including the Peter Dawson course in Florida. I try to bring at least one nationally known dental clinician to the lab every year to train and mentor our technicians.
Mission Statement
"Some of my earliest memories are of my father sitting at a bench as a technician doing the best work he could possibly do. Eventually, my brother Rick and I bought Renstrom Dental Studio, Inc. from him with the intentions of carrying on his dedication to excellence. My goal has, is, and will continue to be, to constantly search out new ideas and technology to improve our product to the end user, our patients. Now with my wife and daughter involved with the company, passing on this heritage of excellence is even more important."
