When will I get my case back?
Standard turn-around time for a crown and bridge case is 10 business days (two weeks). You may indicate the date and time to be returned on the prescription. At Renstrom Dental Studio we will work diligently to assure your case arrives a day or two ahead of its due date and never later. We understand how important your time is and we will deliver on our commitment to provide quality work on a timely schedule.

What is your remake policy if a restoration needs an adjustment?
We work particularly hard at Renstrom to minimize any remakes because we understand how valuable your chair time is. If for any reason a restoration needs an adjustment such as adding to a contact area or adjusting a shade, our dental labs will make the changes accordingly, free of charge. We will also make it our top priority to get a remake case return as soon as possible.

Is your work guaranteed? If so, for how long?
Renstrom stands behind every case we fabricate for five years. If there are any problems with the craftsmanship of our work or the functionality of case design we will remake the case free of charge or honor a full refund for the case. We take much pride in creating beautiful, functional, and excellent fitting fixed dental prosthetics and will stand behind every case our customers receive.

If I have a difficult shade to match, what services do you offer to help?
We are more than willing to assist you in any way we can to get as near to perfect shade as possible. We have custom shade matches available at the lab free of charge. Call our dental lab to set up an appointment for your patient or have them schedule their own appointment. When your patient arrives, an expert dental lab technician will take their shade in our professional facility. If your patient can’t make it to the lab we can make arrangements to come to your office if we receive adequate notice.

My patient has an important event (wedding, etc.) in the near future. Can I get my case back ASAP?
Renstrom is willing to accommodate a rush case if we are notified in advance. We understand that it means a lot to your patients to get them their new tooth and we are more than willing to help you accomplish that. When you have a case that needs to be rushed, please call us and we will happy to help you.

What materials and options are available for a certain case or situation?
We work with a variety of restorative dental materials from full contour gold, to porcelain fused to metal and all-ceramic restorations. Each material is best suited for a different situation. We are always available to discuss these different options to deliver the best solution for each individual patient and each individual case. Renstrom Dental Studio works with a number of CAD/CAM systems. The utilization of these dental CAD/CAM technologies allows us to create dental restorations from a variety of techniques and materials, including (but not limited to): porcelain layered over zirconia and pressed ceramics. By offering a wide variety of restorative options, we can accomplish the best and most suitable combination of fit, function, and esthetics.

What is the easiest way to get my case to the lab?
We offer a free pick-up and delivery to all dental offices located in the Twin Cities metro area. If you are sending to us outside of the Twin Cities we provide case boxes and will cover the shipping to and from your office. Call us for a pick-up or to set up shipping to and from your office.

Do you offer any discounts or incentives?
Renstrom offers a 2% discount if your statement is paid by the 10th of the month. We offer an additional volume discount for those who send 85 percent or more of their crown and bridgework to Renstrom. We offer an additional 3% discount to those doctors who are sending us teh majority of their work (at least 85% of their Crown & Bridge work). This is a way for us to thank those doctors for choosing us as their main lab. The 3% discount is only available when paid by check, due to the processing fees associated with credit cards. WE encourage our doctors to take advantage of the 5% discount available to them that they can take right off other statement totals.

What accreditation/certifications or accomplishments has your lab achieved?
Renstrom Dental Studio is one of the 13 Certified Dental Laboratories in Minnesota and we are also a member of the National Association of Dental Laboratories. Our lab technicians have received training through the Dawson Academy. We also have 6 Certified Dental Technicians (CDT's) on staff: Randy, Rick, Ruth, Kris, Michele, and Lori.

Can I work with one ceramist for all of my crown and bridgework?
At Renstrom Dental Studio we assign each case to a small team of technicians. We work hard to pair each dentist with one ceramist to provide consistent results with a high standard of quality. This one-to-one approach allows us to maintain communication and an excellent working relationship between the lab and the dentist.

Do you outsource any of your work overseas or out of the country?
Every restoration that Renstrom creates is completely fabricated internally at the lab in Minnesota. From the model work to the wax-up and cast and to the final porcelain build-up, each step of the production process is completed in our local dental lab. We do send out for the milling of some of our all-ceramic understructures such as Lava or Procera, but these cores are 100 percent made in the USA.

What measures do you take to control cross-contamination between the dental office and the lab?
Every case we receive is disinfected upon arrival to protect the safety of our employees. When the dental restoration is completed, the case is again disinfected before delivery to assure the well being of your patients.
