We have developed this video to showcase the Procera® Forte dental lab CAD/CAM.
The demonstration was performed at our MN dental laboratories in the Twin Cities.
To deliver superior dental restorations with the Forte scanning technology, here are the basic steps we take….
• Our Technician Scans the Die – by positioning the stylus to map out all the contours of the die to get a three-dimensional image of the tooth. This provides an understructure for the porcelain core to achieve a restoration that is more esthetic and vital
• The computer scan Relays Spatial Relationship of Die's Size/Shape for proper anatomical results
• Dental Lab Tech using Procera® Forte CAD/CAM Designs The Core to fit the tooth exactly
• We can utilize four different shade options of zirconia
• Our Laboratory Technician Sets The Finish Line
• Then our technician defines the tooth margin with Procera® Forte CAD/CAM
• Using the Forte CAD/CAM, our dental lab tech Designs the Coping
• Expect This Attention To Detail With All Renstrom and Crocus dental lab work
• Tech takes a look at the study model to see if they need to add thickness to core
• We want to attain a Uniform Thickness of .4mm with the porcelain
• Thickness & Support are added as needed to the porcelain – such as the incisal edges – to avoid tooth restoration failure
• Our Lab Technician Approves the Design
• Finally, the dental implant abutment and esthetic restoration scans are sent electronically to the Mahwah, New Jersey (NJ) Milling Center.
